📍 Learn a Craft, Enter a Cultural System

For those with a deeper interest in Miao culture, we offer workshops that go beyond embroidery technique. These sessions introduce students to the symbolic logic behind Miao patterns, the basics of ethnographic fieldwork, and ways of bridging tradition with contemporary design.

Zeng Li has conducted lectures and training sessions at universities, creative firms, and museums—often leading students into Miao villages to engage with embroidery in its native context. Since 2022, this program has expanded to the U.S., especially serving Chinese international students and design professionals eager to explore cultural identity and gain hands-on inspiration.

We welcome collaborations with universities, cultural institutions, and design teams to co-develop custom courses, fieldwork projects, or creative residencies. Let’s bring the spirit of Miao embroidery into American classrooms, communities, and imaginations.

📍 用一门技艺，走进一套文化系统

我们面向对苗绣文化有深度兴趣的学习者，开设以“文化+田野+实践”为核心的苗绣课程与工作坊。课程内容不仅包括苗绣图案与工艺本身，更延伸至田野调查方法、传统与当代的融合路径，帮助学员建立完整的文化理解力与表达能力。

曾丽曾在国内外高校、企业与设计机构开展讲座与培训，也常与学生一同进入苗寨实地采风，感受符号背后的生命经验。2022年起，这一教学体系也被带到美国，尤其面向希望深入理解民族文化、从中获得设计启发的中国留学生与创意专业人群。
